HTML Hypertext Markup Language
An authoring language used to create documents for the World Wide Web. Based upon SGML, HTML uses a finite set of tags to structure text into paragraphs, tables etc to be displayed. For example, <H1> designates a heading section, <P> is a paragraph and <UL>> indicates a bullet point list.
